The Drive Sprocket Segment is a core undercarriage component of the Caterpillar D8T Track-Type Tractor, a large bulldozer widely used in mining, heavy earthmoving, land clearing, and large-scale infrastructure projects. As the final element in the drivetrain, the sprocket segment engages directly with the track chain bushings, transmitting torque from the final drive hub to propel the machine forward or backward.
