The 1020521022 is a genuine OEM foot switch (pedal) manufactured by Zoomlion for use in their crane and mobile elevating work platform control systems. This safety-critical component serves as an operator enable switch, requiring deliberate action before any machine function can be activated

The foot switch operates as a three-stage safety switch with latching mechanism :

Position 1 (OFF)Pedal not actuated. Operating contacts are open.
Position 2 (ON)Pedal depressed to pressure point. Contacts 13-14 close, 21-22 open. Normal operation enabled.
Position 3 (EMERGENCY STOP)Pedal fully depressed beyond pressure point. NC contacts (31-32, 41-42) force-disconnect, stopping machine immediately. Latch engages and holds emergency stop status.

Safety Enable Function (Crane Operation)

This foot switch is a critical safety enable device:

'To operate any function, the foot switch must be depressed and the function selected within 7 seconds. The enable indicator shows that the controls are enabled. If a function is not selected within seven seconds, or if a seven second lapse between ending one function and beginning the next function, the enable light will go out and the foot switch must be released and depressed again to enable the controls. Releasing the foot switch stops all platform controls

  • Prevents accidental operation
  • Requires deliberate operator action
  • Immediate stop upon pedal release
  • Automatic disable after 7 seconds of inactivity
  • Emergency stop latching for critical situations
